Overview

Audit & Assurance

Lenders and investors usually specify the level in the loan or operating agreement. Send me the requirement and I'll tell you which service fits. I do the work and sign every report myself.

Statements can be prepared under U.S. GAAP or a special purpose framework such as the income tax basis, when your lender or investors accept it. I do not audit SEC registrants or entities that require a firm registered with the PCAOB.

What to Expect

I handle the numbers so you can run your business.

Direct access

You work with the CPA who signs your report or return, from start to finish.

Less of your time

A secure client portal, e-signatures and current technology keep the engagement moving and ask as little of your time as possible.

Big firm standards

Big Four training and institutional experience, priced without a large firm's overhead.

From first conversation to final sign-off

  1. Scope

We agree on what you need, the deadline and any requirements from your lender or investors.

  2. Engagement letter

A written agreement sets out the service, responsibilities and fee before any work begins.

  3. Records

You upload your records through a secure client portal rather than email.

  4. Delivery

I do the work, resolve open questions with you, and deliver your report, return or analysis.

About

Dave Corcoran, CPA, CFA

LinkedIn

I started my career in PwC's assurance practice. Since then I've spent the better part of fifteen years building finance and accounting functions at alternative asset managers. My approach starts with the risks that matter most. I build controls around them and bring reporting into one place people can rely on.

Along the way I've valued hundreds of illiquid assets and helped founders manage liquidity, vendor relationships and tax strategy. My job has always been to leave no doubt that the financials are accurate and reliable.

I started this firm to bring that standard to small businesses and individuals.

I live in Pleasantville with my wife and our four kids. When I'm not working, you'll usually find me at a ballfield or in my running shoes.
